1. All the benefits of Plan #2 PLUS service into Burlington, Rutland, Hartford and New Haven.
2. While there is still a spare unit 24/7, all units are operated some portion of the day.
3. The Palmer detour is now a shortcut, reducing run time to Boston by about 45 minutes.
4. There is now morning and evening commuter service into Burlington.
5. Logan, Bradley,Burlington and Lebanon airports are now viable passenger destinations.
6. All schedule times are passenger friendly: no middle-of-the-night operations.
Shortcomings
1. No direct service from Boston to Springfield Mass.
2. One tight turn in New Haven: south bound White River to northbound Montreal @ 15 minutes.
3. Trains need to be connected/disconnected in Palmer and Essex Junction.
